Toronto agrees in principle to send TJ to Indiana

A trade has been agreed on in principle that will send TJ, Rasho Nesterovic, and the rights to draft pick Roy Hibbert to Indiana in exchange for Jermaine O’Neal. Because of NBA salary cap rules, the trade cannot be finalized until July 9, after the league’s mandatory moratorium period ends and Ford’s base-year compensation tag expires. Until that time the Pacers nor the Raptors organizations can comment on the deal and the deal is not official. Both players must also pass physicals.

The trade, once officially announced by the NBA, will end TJ’s 2 year run with the Raptors.
