TJ introduced in Indiana

TJ was introduced to the Indiana media in a press conference welcoming him, Jarrett Jack, Maceo Baston, and Josh McRoberts to the Pacer’s organization.

“I’m just excited,” said TJ. “This is a change for all of us and I think we all want to be apart of the change; the change and the views of Indiana Pacers basketball. We want to continue to get the fans back in the building. I think the staff that we have here is probably one of the best staffs that I’ve been apart of since I’ve been in the NBA. It's Official, TJ is a Pacer

In what can best be described as a formality at this point, the Pacers officially announced that TJ Ford has joined the team. TJ came to Indiana in a deal Toronto that allowed the Pacers to acquire T.J. Ford, Rasho Nesterovic, Maceo Baston and Roy Hibbert (the 17th overall pick in June’s NBA draft) for Jermaine O’Neal and Nathan Jawai (the 41st pick in the draft).

“I’m excited about this trade and excited to be going to a team that really wanted me,” said TJ.

The Pacer’s makeover doesn’t end with that trade, as 3 other new members will join the club. The Pacers will also be bringing in Jarrett Jack and Josh McRoberts from Portland, as well…
